Guiedes Snow-Shoe-Hikes

Price per person: about € 70 depending on group size (price includes cableway ticket, snowshoes) The tour begins with a cable car ride up to the mountain terminal. From here you proceed along a high altitude ridge to the Diedams saddle and amble your way through the Halden valley before coming to a short uphill section to the Neuhornbachjoch. From there the more courageous members of the group can whizz down to the valley on an “airboard” (inflatable winter sports board)

Nighttime snowshoe hike

Panorama Abendtour

Altitude: 100 m
This tour offers a fantastic panorama, with the sunset setting the mountains aglow. We take the lift to the middle terminal, from there, the snow shoe tour to Neuhornbachhaus starts. This cosy lodge beckons ramblers to warm up and have a bite. A high-adrenalin tobogganing ride takes us back to Schoppernau.

What are you in for? A mere 150 m altitude gain/loss when mounting or descending, a leisurely 3.7 km in length. Thrilling 900 m in altitude loss and 5 km descent by toboggan.
Price: EUR 35 per person incl. snow shoes, tobogganing and headlamps, excluding train ride. Minimum age of 8 years for children.  

Make sure you bring along: sturdy and warm winter boots, warm clothing, ski or touring poles, ski goggles.
